This is a gorgeous herbal ally for clear skin.
It's based on a witch hazel toner - but super-charged with extra acne-inhibiting herbs.
You use it the same way you would any toner - gently wash the skin, pat dry, and apply the Acne Blitz Herbal Toner with a cotton wool ball or pad or muslin cloth.
With certified organic Aloe Vera, it is not as drying as some chemical toners, but soothes and moisturizes sensitive skin.
The Acne Blitz Herbal Toner contains:
Witchhazel (Hamamelis virginiana) - with astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, witchhazel is gentle and effective for acne and chronic skin conditions.
Pokeroot (Phytolacca decandra) - with potent anti-inflammatory and depurative properties, this herb, known for its effectiveness in managing mastitis, is also helpful when used topically for tinea, acne, dermatitis and chronic skin disorders. Do not use on broken skin.
Oregon Grape (Berberis aquefolium) - with anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory effects, this herb has been used topically with good effect for acne, psoriasis, dermatitis and chronic skin disorders. Oregaon Grape may also taken internally, as in the Skin Bliss Tea or as a liquid herbal extract.
Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) - contains potent anti-bacterial properties and is an excellent natural healer for skin.
Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis Miller) - rich in natural, soothing mucilage, this certified organic Aloe Vera gel soothes and moisturizes irritated, sensitive skin.
Essential oils of Chamomile, Lavender, Melaleuca, Patchouli, Rosewood & Sandalwood
14% alcohol
For topical use only. Do not take internally. Keep out of reach of children.
The Acne Blitz Herbal Toner is ideal to use together with the Skin Bliss herbal tea
and the Spot-less topical herbs
I also like to use the Chickweed Salve on my own skin, which I highly recommend for rashes, eczema, nappy rash, sunburn etc - but some cases of acne might find the salve too oily. My skin just gobbles up the moisturizing natural oils, but I'd patch test it on acne in case it's just too oily. It all depends on your type of skin and your individual response to the herbs.
