Sometimes little ones will get ear ache when they're teething.

Watch for red cheeks, grizzling and rubbing or pulling at their ear.

Ear ache is awful and will reduce grown adults to grizzling wrecks.

How does the Golden Ear Oil work?

- Garlic is a naturally antimicrobial

- Mullein is analgesic & anti-inflammatory and has been used for hundreds of years to alleviate earache

- St John's Wort is a pain-reliever as well as being anti-inflammatory

- Ginger & Turmeric are other excellent anti-inflammatory herbs

- Warmed olive oil itself has been used down through the ages to soothe earache pain & irritation

How do you use it?

Keep it in the fridge. It will keep in the fridge for up to one year.

Then, to use, warm the oil slightly as you would a baby's bottle.

Test the oil on the inside of your wrist.

Try it in your own ear canal before administering it to your child.

Then simply drop one or two drops into the affected ear canal.

Wait and see what affect that had, and repeat the dose if the child will tolerate it.

Use 2-3 times daily until your child feels better.

Cautions:

For minor ear upsets, this oil is a boon. But sometimes, medical care and antibiotics are needful.

So, if your child:

- is under 6 months old

- has a temperature over 39 degrees Celsius, or

- there is any sort of neck stiffness

- there is any drainage from the ear

- your suspect the ear drum has burst

then seek medical attention as soon as possible.
