The Joint-ease tea contains herbs that have been used through the ages to ease the pain and stiffness of rheumatism and arthritis.

Back in the old days I guess they used these herbs because they just, well, worked. But more recently, science has enabled us to analyze exactly which constituents in these herbs act to remedy joint soreness.

Some are potent anti-oxidants which act like a cleaning crew for your body, scavenging free radicals before they can do degenerative damage to tissues. Some have aspiring-like pain relieving effects. Some are excellent anti-inflammatory herbs, with anti-spasmodic effects on tense muscles. And some even have a natural steroid-like effect.

As well as these particular properties, all the herbs are also rich in vital minerals and vitamins our bodies need to heal and maintain vigorous health.

The Joint-ease tea contains:

Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia)– promotes tissue regeneration, reduces inflammation, is a mild cortisone.

Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) – this effective anti-inflammatory herb has been used for centuries for arthritis.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) – studies show this warming herb is beneficial in relieving arthritis. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it a well know arthritis treatment.

Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) – effective for the relief of rheumatic aches and pains.

Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna)- improves the production and strength of collagen, the supporting protein found in joints. These actions can prevent the damage caused to joints from inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. Hawthorn also has anti-inflammatory effects which helps counteract the swelling of arthritis

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – reduces joint swelling and pain. Licorice has crucial anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects and acts like cortisone.

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)– an anti-rheumatic herb.

Nettle (Urticia dioica)– an anti-inflammatory herb with steroid-like properties.

White Willow – “nature’s aspirin” – relieves pain, fever and inflammation; an anti-rheumatic.
