Soaking in a warm bath is a luxury that many pregnant women benefit from.
This special blend can be used in your bath or in a foot bath.
These fragrant herbs are calming and relaxing, and soothing for sore muscles or an aching back. Make sure you are well hydrated while having a warm (not too hot) bath during pregnancy.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale)- supports circulation, eases muscle cramps, reduces nausea.
Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) - stimulating and refreshing to the skin, reduces itching, eases nausea, , reduces muscle spasm, pain-relieving and soothing for over-wrought emotions.
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) - a balm for the soul - soothing, calming, comforting, with anti-viral action and eases muscle spasm. Helpful to ease the way to sound sleep.
Rose petals - soothing, relaxing and fragrant
Nettle (Urticia dioica) - rich in minerals and nutrients, helpful for skin irritations.
Epsom's Salts - for transdermal magnesium benefit, helps relax muscles.
How To Use:
Fill your muslin bag up with the loose herbs.
Place the herbal sachet in a nice big container - a Pyrex bowl works perfectly.
Pour on enough boiling water to completely cover your herbal sachet.
Cover with a lid (I use a plate!) and let it sit and steep while you run your bath.
When you bath is ready (feel free to add candles, flowers, chocolates - why not eh?), simply add the entire contents of your bowl to the bath - wet sachet and all.
Add your body and gently stir ...
You'll want to know how much of the herbs to use per bath. Well, this is not an exact science, but if you're being frugal, use 25g per full sized bath. If you're feeling decadent ... like me ... use about 50g of herbs per bath.
Yes, you can certainly hang your wet sachet on the tap and re-use one more time - just as you might re-use a tea bag. It won't be as potent the second time, just as tea is more dilute when you use a tea bag a second time.
