These herbs are known for their soothing and healing properties, that may help ease pain, reduce inflammation and swelling associated with piles and to support the healing process.
How to use:
Place about a handful of herbs into the drawstring muslin bag provided (this works like a big tea bag). Then put the sachet in a non-metallic receptacle and pour on hot water. Allow to steep for about 10 minutes.
You can then use the herbal liquid in your cleansing bottle, for use while seated on the toilet.
Or, soak soft cloths or cotton wool pads in the herbal liquid. I find the square cotton wool pads used to remove makeup are the ideal size and texture. Put in a zip-lock bag, and cool in the freezer for a while. The cold pads can then be placed on the affected area.
The herbal sachet & liquid can also be placed in a sitz bath (a basin big enough for you to sit in).
