These nutritious herbs are rich in anti-oxidants including bio-flavonoids such as Rutin, which reduces swelling and inflammation and improves the integrity of vein walls and strengthens blood vessels. This tea is safe to drink during pregnancy.

Your VV-ease herbal tea contains:

Bilberry
(Vaccinium myrtillus) – with astringent, anti-inflammatory and anti-oedema effects due to the anthocyanoside tannins, Bilberry can relieve discomfort and reduce swelling.

Butcher's Broom (Ruscus aculeatus) - promotes circulatory health; helps tighten blood vessels and capillaries, strengthens blood vessels.

Elderflower (Sambuccus nigra) rich in Vitamin C, thought to strengthen capillaries.

Hawthorn berries (Crataegus monogyna)- also rich in Vitamin C, and Rutin, with astringent and anti-inflammatory action.

Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) - rich in tannins & saponins which are anti-inflammatory, tones the blood vessels, improves micro-vascular circulation & reduces swelling.

Oatstraw (Avena sativa)- also an excellent nervine tonic, rich in B Vitamins, strengthens the vascular system.

Nettle
(Urticia dioica) - rich in iron, magnesium, silica and many vitamins including C & E; strengthens capillaries and improves vein elasticity.

Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) - with astringent & anti-oxidant properties, this nutrient-rich herb is good for the circulatory system as well as a tonic for the reproductive system.

How to use:

Use 1 tbsp, about 5g, of loose herbs per cup of tea. 

Add boiling water, cover, and steep for at least 10 minutes. 

Then pour through a strainer into your cup. 

Lemon and honey may be added for taste. 

The tea may be enjoyed hot or iced.

Drink 2-4 cups a day as desired.
